Spice 6 Modern Indian

I have a nut allergy. I visited spice 6 at the end of September. Food was delicious, avoided all nuts. I come back at the end of November, now all the protein(except tofu or vegetables) contains cashews. So now I and everyone else who has a nut allergy are unable to eat their food. Do better

I stumbled upon this place while on a business visit to Washington DC area. Very glad I went. Really like the unique concept of Indian in a chipotle order to eat way. This could quickly become a cross country hit. Tried a rice bowl and a samosa burger. Samosa burger was awesome

The food was really good. We specifically went for the dosa. As South Indians we are usually disappointed by dosa and particularly sambar. This was definitely one of the better ones. We had plain dosa, onion rava dosa. The desi masala chai was good too.

Terrible. Would not go here again. Chana didnt taste like Indian food, more like mexican taste. Paneer veggie was terrible basically stir fried with Tandoori powder. Dumped raita on veggie salad, that's not how you do indian food. Nan was good.

I've been here a number of times over the years and it's only gotten better. It's like an Indian version of Chipotle. The options are rice bowls, a Naan wrap, or Naan pizza. There are tables outside who prefer to eat outside.
