Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed, and here's why: Our main dishes fell flat and lacked flavor—something you certainly shouldn't encounter with good Indian cuisine. The Tandoori Meat Platter was quite bland, and the Chicken Masala was a bit chewy, which was not at all what we remembered from our previous visits. There 's an Indian deli ten minutes from my house, so I haven 't been to Tandoori Flames in a while, and that was my mistake. This place is amazing. A small and intimate building, excellent service from knowledgeable waitstaff, a menu with plenty of options for any diet, and of course, any restaurant 's raison d 'être the food! Bright colors and plenty of fresh spices fill every dish with flavor. Plus, if mild and medium aren 't going to cut it and you want it spicy, you don 't just get white people spicy. Fantastic food and friendly service. I've driven by dozens of times. Every time I go by I would think to myself I've got to try this place. Sunday evening at 8 pm my wife and I called to make sure they were open open till 9). I can't believe that I've been missing out on excellent food at a great price. AMAZING! We ate from their special menu and had some amazing pani puri. The lamb chops with mint/coriander/yogurt was THE BEST lamb I have ever had (and I love lamb). We have lived in Edison NJ, New York City and the greater Boston area. We moved to New Milford two weeks ago and just resigned ourselves to not having access to Indian food. We were so wrong! It is well worth the price. The freshness just shines through! The flavors are so complex and clean. Every bite is well-balanced and so wonderful!

Literally the BEST Indian food I have had we dined there tonight and have done takeout in the past. The food is always delicious but especially when you have it in the restaurant. A charming interior with exceptional service and one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time (their ginger margarita was top notch). Already can't wait to go back!
Amazing food !!! This is my new favorite Indian Restaurant!!! Very authentic and amazing flavor !!! I will be back many more times. Since my parents moved to Florida I miss my dad's cooking so much . This food is as close to my dad's home cooking I have ever had from a restaurant! Great service also very friendly staff . Love it !!!!
Another visit, another great evening. The Chicken Korma is very good but Lamb is better! Grilled Salmon was very nice and the coconut rice is simply outstanding. Next visit I might simply try every rice dish, they are that good. Between a 4 and 5 Star, the owners warm personality pushed this to a 5. Keep up the good work!
The food and service were outstanding. I've been there multiple times and highly recommend it. The staff is very friendly, and it's a great place for large groups.

We had Malayali Food and it was the best we've had in the US. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive.
