Over 3 hours for our food to be delivered. 2x delivery delays via JustEat. Awful customer service, in fact non-existent. Having used the restaurant for many years I won’t be using them again. Over 10+ calls un-answered and no apologies when the food finally arrived well over 3 hours after it was ordered. Our food was ordered before 8pm and didn’t arrive until over 3 hours later (although the initial delivery time was just over an hour). Having first hand experience of how busy a kitchen can get at peak times I completely understand how hard it is to run a takeaway service as well as a restaurant. BUT, don’t take on a takeaway option if you can’t keep up with demand. Or at least make sure you...
Firstly the young girl on the phone is so rude, I ordered at 7pm and requested it came at 9pm. Still no sign at 9.15 I phoned and the rude girl said the driver is on his way: I then had an email to say my order was cancelled as they close at 9.30Pm????? When I requested delivery for 9pm. I understand businesses get busy during a weekend, but if you can’t manage orders don’t accept. I’d of ordered else where and eaten within that time of waiting. The girl on the phone simply said, the boss cancelled cos he run out of stock. No apology, nothing. I’ll never ever order from here again, lucky I have a large social media platform to warn others to stay away.
We made a larg-ish order and told it would be an hour, fair enough. Over an hour later we rang to see how much longer it would be. We were told the driver had left a while ago and should be with us soon. Another 20mins later we rang as still no food to be told ours was next up to cook and it would be another 20-30mins??? So over 2 hours! Not acceptable and why lie about it being on its way originally? Birthday take-out ruined and we went to bed hungry as it was too late to order anything else (9:30pm ish) Such a shame as we’ve eaten here a few times and the food is lovely. Won’t order again now as we were let down.
Just ordered from The Algarve restaurant and I have to say the King Prawns in a garlic sauce where absolutely amazing. I went for a couple of starters instead of a main this time and it didn't disappoint. Service was timely and I highly recommend you order some starters and sides tapa's style (But Portuguese of course) Réservez une table maintenant
Ordered a take away for the whole family. It arrived on time and was all piping hot. We ordered the £25 chicken deal for two and it was tasty and excellent value. The kids has mussels and garlic bread and there were clean plates all round.An amazing local restaurant and take away!!!
