The Capital Grille Houston

We had a 10 minute wait for a reservation I scheduled online a month a month ago. Someone called to verify on Monday that the reservation was for 3 ppl and I received a text message on the way there that the reservation was for 3 ppl. Upon arrival, the host said they had to set the table for 3 ppl and we waited about 10 minutes before we were seated. Jay is always wonderful. He’s very professional, very helpful, sweet and cracks jokes. Always a great experience when he’s our waiter.

Normally Capital Grille at the Galleria hits it out of the park. Our food and service was impeccable, Tony our waiter was fantastic and professional. However, we were put in the side room next to a table of very tall, and very loud women and one dude WEARING SHORTS. Management needs to do a better job of controlling the volume and actually enforcing the dress code. I come to the Capital Grille partly because of what it is not (i.e. Chilis or da Cluuuuuuuub)

I have had dinner here several times, but since Covid it appears they will let any attire in to dine. Shorts flipflops etc...just ruins the over atmosphere. If I wanted that I would have just gone to Roadhouse. Other than that the service is always top notch. Food is always a to star

Jacob was our server and he was great. We loved our choices and food was great! At the end we were unsure about dessert and decided not to get anything. Jacob brought us some samples to try for next time. This has been one of our best experiences yet at the Capital Grill Réservez une table maintenant
