My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The twice baked cheese soufflé was one of the best my wife has ever had, and my crab risotto was perfectly cooked and tasted like the sea. The chorizo crumb added a nice texture and flavor contrast. Our main course of cod and ratatouille was delicious, especially the ratatouille which was a mix of traditional and finely diced caponata. The warm chocolate fondants were a perfect ending to the meal. The helpful and friendly staff and the beautiful setting overlooking the river made the experience even better. This restaurant is a valuable addition to Ludlow and definitely contributes to the town's reputation as a foodie destin...

We had a wonderful dining experience at Charlton Arms yesterday. We dined on the Upper Terrace, which was worth booking for the beautiful view of the river. We enjoyed the delicious chicken liver parfait followed by the equally good crab. The pannacotta with poached pears was lovely as well. Make sure to book in advance as this restaurant is a must-visit!

Very tasty food but quite expensive mains. No bread rolls but we’re given complementary water.
