The Hook, Seafood Broiler Spirits

I'm so pleased we discovered this little gem! During a brief weekend trip to Seattle, we wandered into an unfamiliar area and stumbled upon The Hook online. It was a seafood restaurant that had great reviews and was conveniently located, so we made a reservation for Saturday night. We were not disappointed! My husband declared his salmon to be perfection, which is high praise coming from someone who is usually quite critical. My shrimp pasta was also fantastic, featuring a generous amount of shrimp cooked in a creamy garlic sauce with mushrooms and onions. Decent food, good service. Just stopped in for a snack one afternoon. This was the first time back since the pandemic. Warm (adult) atmosphere, with better acoustics than you'd think using the industrial look (concrete floor and unfinished ceiling exposed pipes etc. Food was good; albeit the chowder seemed microwaved vs. out of a pot. It was their recipe though and very good. Other items were great. Fries were outstanding. Bar wait staff were attentive, but not pushy. Overall. I'll be back.

This little restaurant won't let you down. I went over there because of the Clam Chowder reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Clam Chowder-Steamed Clams in white wine sauce- Halibut Fries, I can say the same about all the fresh ingredients making the food great. The All American Burger I feel obliged to express how good it was! The medium-heavy, well local ground beef Ciabatta bread made it so good. Juicy- tasty- well proportioned burgers.

Had a really nice experience here on a Thursday evening. I got their baked halibut that was on their specials menu and it was fantastic. Served with garlic mashed potatoes, the vegetables were sautéed perfectly. My wife got the seafood carbonara and while I initially poked fun at her for getting a pasta dish at a seafood joint, it was ridiculously good. Our server mentioned that it was his favorite. I recently discovered this restaurant, and I must say it was amazing. The crab dive dish was incredibly delicious—words can't do it justice! I ordered the chicken armchair Alfredo, while my partner had the hook plate, and both were excellent. The service was outstanding as well. This place is truly a hidden gem, and I will definitely be returning!

I was impressed by this place and decided to give it a try, and we've been coming back regularly ever since. The seafood is consistently delicious, and I haven't been disappointed yet. The clam chowder is among the best I've ever had! The staff is always excellent and takes great care of us.

The food was good, the serving sizes were plenty big and the service was friendly/quick. Can't really attest to the prices going up and portion sizes going down but our meals seemed pretty decent for the money. Plenty of options to accommodate many different tastes.

I’ve had dinner here a half a dozen times- This place has never disappointed!! Always friendly staff that make it Happen. The steamer clams where AMAZING! Had the basic burger with a salad a pint of blue moon to boot. Réservez une table maintenant

Server was super sweet and helpful with helping me pick! Bathrooms and dining room clean! Food and beer was amazing, served fast, fresh and hot!!!
