Had cycled quite a few time past the Swan in Chaddesley Corbett, so for once we decided to stop and used their weekend 'meeting place ' coffee/brunch extension. Weather was nice, garden and sun inviting, staff friendly and helpful. All was OK except that I do not like places which discriminate against vegan and charge you extra if you want plant based milk. These can know be bought at nearly the same price than dairy milk. Charging each vegan customer more than the difference between a liter of dairy milk and a liter of plant based milk when you only use a fraction of it is a ****-take. I stopped by for a quick pint during lunchtime at this authentic village pub, which appeared to be a favorite among locals. It was my first time trying Bathams, and I thoroughly enjoyed their best bitter. It was one of the best pints I've had in years. I was also delighted to see pickled eggs available! I really enjoyed my time at this pub, and the village and church were lovely to visit. The church had interesting memorials and statues, making for a pleasant couple of hours spent in the village.
Visited with friends just before Christmas and it was very busy. A good selection of beers, but a request for a glass of sherry proved to be quite a difficult task for the staff. a. Finding a bottle of sherry b. Finding a suitable glass c. Working out a price. The fact the pub is dog friendly perhaps adds to its popularity but when we visited the were almost as many canines as humans! One family had brought three very large gun dogs they were very well behaved as were the accompanying children.
Nice village but the swan seems to have expanded bigger than a small country pub should. Very expensive simple meals which were nice but designed for maximum profit , £6/portion of chips is extortionate . Ordering was a massive confusing affair as 2 companies operating from 1 kitchen?????? So had 2 order from 2 different bars in cramped corridor. Staff were pleasant . Organisation was a shambles. Pre ordered but they gave 2 of our meals to another customer WHY ? ?????

Fantastic pub. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The Bathams is next level. I didn’t eat here but the food looked delicious. I’ll definitely be back, they also have some good outdoor seating areas and a kids playground. So handy if you want a pint and take the family. Thanks for a nice time all!!
It was a lovely cosy place to have a quick cob and coffee with my girlfriends friends. It started to fill up, lots of people came in with dogs and noses got a tad too close to our food. It’s seems like a lovely place as a stop off and a nice meeting place for friends and family
The Bathams beer Pub is a popular and lively local public house with a good atmosphere. It is always busy and has great outdoor seating. I have only ever had snacks there, but it is a great spot to grab a drink with friends.
I visited on New Year's Day and it was very crowded. The service was quick and friendly, and the cheers cob was delicious. There is plenty of outdoor seating, making it a great place to stop if you're out for a walk.

We were well looked after, great food and plenty of it. I will be back for sure as I need to try a lot more on the menu as there seemed to be such a selection. Definitely recommend.
Excellent Friday night music and excellent beer. Great to see local establishments supporting local musicians. Nice ambience to the place as well. Will be back
