While the menu may not be extensive, it is thoughtfully curated, showcasing classic breakfast and lunch options prepared to perfection. On this visit, we opted for Combo #1, which featured two Grade A eggs cooked to medium, alongside a stack of fluffy buttermilk pancakes topped with strawberries and blueberries, accompanied by warmed syrup. We met up with my partner's sister and her boyfriend on our way to Atlantic City, and they suggested this restaurant. I really liked our waiter, Amos, who was charming and took the time to jot down my thoughts on the back of the menu. He engaged with every table, creating warm and interesting conversations. My French toast was alright, but nothing to write home about, and it seemed like everyone else enjoyed their meals more than I did—I'm not quite sure why that was. The orange juice wasn't freshly squeezed and didn't measure up to Tropicana quality. Additionally, the bathroom could have been cleaner. I took a video of it, but I feel bad about sharing it.
The blueberry pancakes are amazing; they use Jersey blueberries throughout the year. The omelets are fantastic as well, made with fresh local produce. They offer great breakfast and lunch specials that change weekly, and if you see something you like that's not on the menu, Tom or Bill will likely be able to make it for you. The staff is also wonderful! Overall, a great place to dine in.
I had an amazing breakfast at this restaurant. The food was truly delightful, deserving five stars for both its taste and presentation. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who made my experience very enjoyable. The atmosphere was nice, but I would give it four stars as it could use a little more ambiance. Charming little breakfast place! I had the eggs and corned beef hash skillet, and everything was delicious. The poached eggs were done perfectly, the potatoes were cooked just right, and the corned beef had great flavor. The staff was incredibly friendly as well.
