Well l did like this place. Today l ordered coffee and muffins . I actually asked for a hot coffee. It was mildly warm. So I ask to replace to a hot . Well it can back and l kid you not it was still boiling. 10 minutes later l still can't pick up the glass. The muffin was ordinary. But maybe that is just the level that is acceptable here. White chocolate and raspberry. Non descriptive flavours of any. I did taste the coffee and it would completely ruin my day if l drank it. So the picture is of how l left it. I did complain. I figer they will get the message without any unnecessary confrontation. I see all the happy customers around me so don't listen to me. Go here. Like this place coffee c...
Only time in my life I’ve ever left an entire meal on the plate uneaten. Had to ask for a steak knife to cut through my multigrain toast and still I couldn’t get through it. It was literally like a rock. You’d think asking for a steak knife to get through the toast would be a hint but the waiter didn’t offer any apology or offer a replacement. Steak in the steak sandwhich is the cheapest cut of meat and even the smoothies are void of all flavour. Def the worst meal I’ve had since moving to the area. Beaumaris had the most brilliant cafes and this just isn’t it. Went to the patisserie across the road and had a yummy pie instead.
Me and my sister came in for breakfast this morning. My sister got a ham cheese tomato croissant and found the bottom to be a tad soft. Without having to get attention from the waitstaff they came over to ask if everything was okay. When my sister explained the issue we were offered a replacement straight away with no fuss. The service here was the highlight of the meal as we also spilt some coffee, and it was promptly cleaned again without having to get the attention of the wait staff. We highly appreciate this level of customer service and think the business should be applauded.
Nice little lively café which is full every time we've been there. Very noisy inside needs some acoustic ceiling treatment, and some heaters would make the outdoor dining more tolerable on cold, wet, windy days. The food and coffee were great, especially the zucchini fritters. Chai latte was a miss (instant premix is not the same thing as Prana Chai). Réservez une table maintenant
We arrived at the cafe today at 2:45pm. Two of the staff members rushed at us, no greeting and said 'only take away coffee '. The cafe was closing more than an hour later. We just wanted a quick coffee inside as it was freezing outside. This is not our understanding of customer service. We will avoid in the future.
Such a lovely environment- chilled! friendly service, incredibly attentive!! The specials coming into the cooler weather have exceeded themselves! Weekly soup specials...are something I haven't experienced before, the flavours are amazing! 10/10 . Réservez une table maintenant
