I love visiting this place when we're in the area, it's not a well known restaurant if you're not local and doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is delicious and the presentation of the meals is a highlight. I tried the tempura bento box this time which was made up of tempura veggies and prawns, 3 slices of sashimi, 2 gyoza, diced beef and rice. I would've liked a miso soup to go with it plus another slice of sashimi but nonetheless it was a good size serving and everything was super delicious and fresh tasting. The dessert menu needs an update, it had only 2 really unappealing items green tea ice cream and wasabi orange cheesecake so we went elsewhere. Despite that, I still...

I have read the scathing reviews for this lovely neighbourhood restaurant and can't believe they are talking about the same place that we regularly eat at. The service might not be what you get in a top city restaurant, but it is always friendly. The gyoza are among the best in Melbourne and all dishes are tasty, well cooked and beautifully presented. On top of all that it is great value.

The Japanese food at this restaurant is fantastic. The flavors harmonized perfectly on the plate. Despite being busy with limited staff, the service was good and the staff were friendly. It was my partner's first time trying Japanese food and he also enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning, as this has become our new favorite spot.

We absolutely love dining at this restaurant! The food is always delicious, with great quality and value for money. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow when it’s busy, but it is definitely worth the wait.

Food is really good! Especially the nigiris and teriyaki beef was perfect! Only negative thing was the music. They had one song in a loop and it gets annoying after awhile.
