We've been to restaurant Büchel 3 or 4 times now and every time the staff have been consistently welcoming and friendly. The food is very traditional Swiss / Italian combinations. I would guess their speciality is the various cordon bleu, which are large, rich, and filled with interesting stuffings. They are flexible, so you can opt into a few vegetables instead of the normal pommes. But I find their pizzas also very, very good - their Buttafuoco one of my favorite pizzas on the entire planet! We've also tried the pastas which are also generous and rich.Overall if there's a complaint, the food is generally very rich and some lighter options might be good.The head waiter in particular always...

we (4 pers.) at 20:30 have the local habits and we have rejoined a fine cordon bleu, an ordered cannelloni, the other all cordon bleu however with various supplements ( risotto, pommes and vegetables) the eating was very tasty! there was even a limoncello on the house after eating!
